RUSTIQUE!

I'm sure you're already seeing pics of Quilt Market all over the interwebs and I have some to show too. But first and foremost I want to show you my booth where I debuted my latest collection with Michael Miller Fabics- RUSTIQUE

My booth came together in a fantastic way. I had a few hiccups along the way but miraculously I think the end result is much better then what I had imagined.

The show stopper was Harvey. I bought an archery target at a sporting goods store and decoupaged him with scraps of fabric. Everyone stopped to see and take pictures of him.

I shared with some attendees my husbands intention to use Harvey as a real target when I bring him home. This prompted an instagram campaign to #saveharvey.

Of course I was most excited to share my new patterns using Rustique.
This medallion inspired pattern is named Jackson Hole.
(I'll be posting next week a little bit more about each of my new patterns)

My other pattern in the booth is named Tuacahn. It's my updated version of a lonestar quilt.

Of course the little details in the booth make it interesting and fun.

The Hubs even let me spray paint some old sheds he had laying around the garage.

Remember the sneak peeks from my last post? The matchstick quilting was done on this pillow. Although hard to see in this picture it adds a gorgeous texture.

Pillows are a fun and quick way to add accents. Keep an eye out for that arrow pillow which will be featured in a magazine later on this year!

I also showed off my coordinating thread packs available through Superior Threads.
This thread is so wonderful to sew and quilt with. And the colors are great staples for any thread collection;
Navy, Teal, Green, Orange, Berry and Grey. Each spool contains 550yds of thread.
At a price point of $35 it's affordable to everyone!

I am listing a few bundles in my Etsy shop for only $25. I only have a few. Once they're gone I will relist at the regular price. So get on it now and get yours at a fabulous discount!

HAPPY SEWING!

If your husband MUST hunt Harvey, at least let me come help you re-decopauge him with camo!

I love your lonestar redesign! I shall add that to the list of quilts I may make one day.

I loved seeing pictures of your booth! It looks great! #saveharvey cracks me up. The decoupage is a fantastic idea.
I really like the quilt draped over the basked between the Jackson Hole Quilt (which is my favorite! ;) ) and the arrow pillow. I love tessellating shapes.

I just found you via the Hawthorn Threads newletter. I love Harvey! Thanks for sharing. I never make it to Quilt Market, so it's great to see your booth and quilts.

PS. You really need to do some comment moderation, you have some spam goin' on.

Can't wait till I have the funds to be able to pick up some of this awesome fabric. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it at this years Quilt Market (not in person, in pictures). I'm happy that we were able to save Harvey, as he is a big part of reason of the success of the line, as it's mascot, it wouldn't have been right for him to be "put out to pasture". Can't wait for your quilt patterns, they're just gorgeous. Thank you for such a fun line to work with!
